In fact, this recipe is very simple and flexible, This tuna cream that I decided to serve with peppers is also perfect with grilled courgettes, but also with hot croutons or as a condiment for pasta: In short, a real joker in the kitchen!

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 1 kg of peppers
  • 250 g of light spreadable cheese
  • 30 g of pistachio or walnuts
  • 160 gr of natural tuna
  • sale
  • pepe
  • mint or basil leaves to decorate

Procedimento

  • Wash the peppers, place on a plate (or in the oven 200 degrees) and cook for approximately 20 minutes, turning them on various sides until they are evenly roasted.
  • In the meantime, mix the spreadable cheese and chopped pistachios or walnuts in a bowl, the tuna, salt and pepper.
  • Once the peppers have cooled,remove their skin and remove the internal seeds.
  • Spread over the roasted pepper fillets, the previously prepared cream and sprinkle with a little chopped pistachios.
  • Roll the peppers into rolls which you will block with toothpicks.
  • Place a few fresh mint or basil leaves on the rolls
  • Place the pepper rolls in the fridge until ready to serve
