The advice I am about to give you, obviously, it cannot be used as a continuous remedy for your food stunts…..but only in rare and sporadic cases.
It's about exploiting the beneficial properties of'pineapple as a purifier, anti-inflammatory, draining.
We know its properties:

Pineapple is a plant of the Bromeliad family that grows spontaneously in the tropical and subtropical forests of South America.. Today commercial plantations have also spread to the Hawaiian Islands, in the Philippines and also in Asia.
Clearly the purpose of cultures is predominantly food, but pineapple leaves also have their market: they are the source of a fiber that can be used to make ropes or even fabrics. Furthermore, the stem is the source of choice for the extraction of bromelain.
The pineapple fruit, as well as being eaten fresh alone or in fruit salad, it is used in the kitchen as an ingredient to prepare desserts or ice cream, but also to give an exotic touch to meat or fish recipes.
Let's see the nutritional characteristics of pineapple and why, in addition to being a good food, we can consider it a "medicinal plant".

Pineapple as a source of “bromelain”

The main cause of the beneficial qualities of pineapple is bromelain: a proteolytic enzyme, that is, capable of reducing proteins into simple amino acids, isolated for the first time from the stem and only later also found from the fruit. In general the pulp is less rich in bromelain, therefore for the preparation of medicines or supplements it is extracted from the stem. This is also an advantage for the environment, as for food purposes the stem has no value and therefore would represent production waste to be disposed of.
Bromelain is among the most effective and well absorbed natural remedies: it is estimated that after oral administration it enters the circulation well 40% of the dose taken. Clearly this positively affects its effectiveness as phytopharmacy.

Here are the pharmacological activities that are recognized for it:

– bromelain facilitates the digestion of protein-rich foods such as meat and this activity is especially useful in those suffering from dyspepsia;
– it is an effective anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous remedy and for this indication it is also on the market as a drug for the treatment of inflammatory states associated with trauma and edema, including post-operative ones;
– It also has a recognized efficacy as an antithrombotic and a good hypotensive action;
– the anti-edematous action also makes it useful in the treatment of cellulite, especially complicated by even painful water retention.

Fresh fruit is an excellent ally for taking care of well-being and protecting health starting from the table.
Pineapple has recognized eupeptic properties, that is, it is one of those foods capable of stimulating the secretion of gastric juices and facilitating digestive functions. This beneficial action at the gastric level is also amplified by the presence of bromelain which, as we have seen, facilitates protein digestion.
According to some studies, pineapple is also able to facilitate fat metabolism and, effectively, the fibers contained in the pulp of the fruit are able, at the intestinal level, to counteract the absorption of lipids. For this reason it is among the fruits of choice for those who are following a specific diet for slimming purposes. All these benefits are exclusive to consuming the fresh fruit: vitamins and bromelain itself are thermolabile, therefore cooked pineapple becomes a good source of dietary fiber.

Bromelain is contraindicated in patients suffering from peptic ulcers, haemophilia, liver or kidney disease, coagulation disorders. This should also be taken into account when choosing a pineapple stem-based supplement, not only when buying bromelain as a medicine. The latter, despite being without prescription, is subject to usage restrictions: therefore it will be necessary to ask your nutritionist or doctor for advice.
The effectiveness in these indications also depends greatly on the dosage: the fresh fruit contains only enough bromelain to facilitate the digestion of a protein meal, and in fact it is common for it to be served fresh at the end of the meal. For the rest, the consumption of fresh pineapple is certainly a good method to promote diuresis and purify the body, for all other indications it will be necessary to take bromelain as a drug or supplement.

Pineapple diet for 1 day!

The choice to eat pineapple for 1 only day, it is particularly suitable if you overindulged at the table the day before. Without risking going back to binging the next day, because pineapple increases the sense of satiety as it is also rich in fibre. But don't think that you can regularly resort to this remedy to deflate yourself. «The pineapple regime must be followed for just one day. Prolonging it means facing the same risks as a total fast. Even more so, fruit being low in protein, the body is induced to draw nutrients from the muscle mass". In short, in the long run you find yourself weak and with degraded muscles, then ONLY FOR 1 DAY, it will serve to purify you from the excesses of the day before without any damage. Clearly this is only indicated for those in good health, they cannot follow these directions, people suffering from diabetes or competitive athletes and people intolerant to pineapple enzymes.
So I repeat…just 1 days and in patients who do not have the pathologies mentioned I suggest:

Breakfast:
• a cup of tea or coffee
• a glass of juice 100% from pineapple to natural
• a fruit of your choice
Mid morning:
• a glass of juice 100% from pineapple to natural
Lunch:
• 4 pineapple fette (do not syrup!)
• a low-fat yogurt.
Snack:
• a glass of juice 100% from pineapple to natural
Cena:
• 2 pineapple slices in pan
• 50 g of unseasoned boiled rice
or:
• 4 pineapple slices
• a low-fat yogurt
or:
• 2 skewers composed of alternating chicken pieces, of pineapple and cherry tomatoes, red pepper

The result is effective and will help you restore energy homeostasis the next day with a rebalanced diet..
