Dear readers with our 40 degrees these days, I want to remind you to make the necessary changes to your daily diet. These are small steps, but that will benefit your health.
Drinking and eating correctly contributes to dealing with the AFA and reducing the health risks due to heat waves, especially dehydration.
1) At least drink 8 glasses of water per day, because the risk is that of losing minerals due to increased sweating and perspiration. Be careful of the elderly who do not feel thirsty and risk dehydration. Children also need to drink more, increasing the liquids even with centrifuged juices. Instead, the consumption of alcoholic beverages such as wine and beer should be limited.
2) Always have a rich breakfast but don't overuse butter and baked goods (croissant, yarrow, fried donuts…etc.) better yogurt, centrifuged, fresh partially skimmed milk, fruit.
3) Give priority to fresh foods, easily digestible and rich in water. This rule must be followed in particular when consuming a packed lunch., not exaggerating with salty or sugary snacks. Don't forget fresh fruit in your snacks
4) You can consume ice cream or a smoothie for snacks, or a slice of watermelon.
5) Avoid full meals c
on primo, main course and side dish and favor single balanced dishes that can provide the nutrients of an entire meal (rice and vegetables, fish and vegetables, mixed salad and tuna…..)
6) Consume very little salt and pay the utmost attention to the preservation of food through appropriate refrigeration and not for a long time. To this end, it is best to purchase fresh products at the time of consumption.
7) The water supply must therefore be adequate (about 2 l ) and don't forget to eat small portions, but always accompanied by vegetables / vegetables
I hope this anomalous heat can pass quickly!!!
